AMERICAN LEGION NEW HAVEN POST 210 ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL OFFICERS

NEW HAVEN, CONN (Aug. 21, 2018)—The newly formed American Legion New Haven Post 210, with a roster of mostly student and Post-9/11 wartime veterans, elected their inaugural officers at their August 21, Formational Meeting.

The 2018-19 post officers are: Commander Charles M. Pickett; Vice Commander Thania Rivera; Adjutant/Finance Officer Biancesca Rivera; and Chaplain Britt Conroy. Erin F. Murphy was appointed the service officer, as was Lori Rasile as Americanism chairperson.

The American Legion is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization aimed at advocating patriotism across the U.S. through diverse programs and member benefits. The new post meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:10 p.m. at the New Haven Elks Lodge #25 (524 State Street, New Haven, CT). Interested veterans can learn more at NewHavenLegion.org.
