In 2019, the American Legion New Haven Post 210 added a featured speaker program to the regular monthly meetings at 7:10 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month at the Knights of St. Patrick (1533 State St., New Haven, CT 06511).
These 10 to 15 minute veteran-focused presentations near the beginning of the meeting address between five and a dozen largely GWOT-era veterans. Speakers may bring handouts or literature for the correspondence table as there is no AV support. A simple dinner is typically served around 6:30 p.m. POC Pickett.
