NEW HAVEN, CONN. (May 18, 2023)–The veterans of the American Legion New Haven Post No. 210 have elected new leadership for the 2023-2024 officer year.
Mark Osenko, the literacy media specialist at Worthington Hooker School in New Haven, was elected post commander. His election is a milestone in the little Legion post, marking the first time the veterans service organization will be lead by a member who joined after the post was chartered on Dec 20, 2018.
Outgoing Commander Charles M. Pickett, an English teacher at the Sound School in New Haven, helped organize and lead the post from its inception in early 2018, and is hoping to move up to state-level veteran leadership in Connecticut.
The 2023-2024 American Legion New Haven Post No. 210 officers are:
